Lay Training

The Lay Training Program offers laity a chance to deepen their practice of the Dharma while gaining a proper understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a Buddhist layperson. The focus is on ethical training based around the Five Precepts and monastic regulations, which serve as the basis for the deeper meditative practices that bears fruit in wisdom and insight. The program aims on having students be able to benefit society and the world and live by the Six Guidelines in a lay capacity.
